January 16, 2008 - ILLiad upgrade completeThe ILLiad application software system supporting interlibrary loan services has been upgraded. Access has been restored. Please report access problems immediately to the ITD Helpdesk. Please report other non-critical problems using the Web RX system:

Recent RESOLVED alerts:
Saturday, December 29, 2007. A hardware failure on our Aleph server caused the Aleph services, Research Port and ILLiad to become unavailable until approximately 2:30PM. Replacement hardware was required to bring these services back online.
November 21, 2007 - All Windows-based services were offline for scheduled maintenance from 6pm, Wednesday November 21 through 12am Friday, November 23 (midnight Thursday night). This included CP and USMAI ILLiad and all networked drives such as indivdual Z and shared M drives.
November 13, 2007 - We experienced a power failure, 11/13/2007 at 1:45pm. Aleph, ILLiad, and the Catalog were down. Power was restored at 2:15pm.
November 12, 2007 - ITD performed emergency maintenance on the Aleph system Tuesday, November 13th between midnight and 1am Wednesday morning.
Nov 5, 2007 - USMAI Odyssey
Odyssey Manager shut down at 1:00AM this morning due to the time change. The ILliad and Odyssey servers were restarted and this resolved the problem. Local sites should reboot their clients to resolve any local problems.ALEPH V18 UPGRADE COMPLETED
On Sunday, July 15, 2007 at 10:30AM, the upgrade of Aleph to version 18 was completed. All staff functions and the catalog are now available
From Saturday, March 10th through Monday, March 12th the Aleph TEST database was unavailable due to server maintenance.
January 17th, 2006: Research Port, Find It (SFX), and ILLiad login downtime
Services were unavailable from 9:00-9:25pm on January 17th. All services are restored.
December 21, 2006 8:20 - December 21, 2006 9:20 - Problems searching GUI and loader loading process. Resolved by rerunning clear_vir01 and restarting the pc_server. No downtime.
December 1, 2006 10:55 - December 2, 2006 00:15 - Access to Research Port, Find It, and login to ILLiad was unavailable. Access was restored after approximately 1 hour 20 minutes of downtime.
November 21, 2006 11:00AM: UMCP experienced a campus-wide power outage. All ITD services were taken down shortly thereafter. The power was restored at approximately 11:45AM.
- 12:00PM - Access to Aleph and the USMAI catalog was restored.
- 12:25PM - Access to Researchport was restored.
- 12:35PM - Access to USMAI Illiad was restored.
- 1:00PM - Access to Aleph Test was restored.
November 20, 2006 8:00AM Login to the catalog was down for a short time.
September 29, 2006 -9:15 a.m.. EBSCO databases access problems.
Problems with searching through Quick Search and Cross Search (Z39.50 searching) are RESOLVED.September 25, 2006 - 14:55 hrs. - Researchport, SFX and ILLiad access problem RESOLVED.
