ITD Reorganization - Ruschoff

• Hired a consultant to investigate ITD
• Report was shared with ITD staff
• Broken down into three categories: Systems Admin, ILS Applications, and Web Services

Missing FY07 Workplan Priorities and V18 - Bush

• On schedule for V18
• V18 task group - putting together charges for other task groups
• Will be sent next week to expert testers - ASTG, CPC, UITG, RSTG, and PDQ
• ITD has begun creating environments and will begin client packages this month

• April 15th - install testers
• PDQ redesign of title level holds
• April 27th - PDQ reports on critical path

• General testing - extended to end of May

V18 Upgrade moved to end of July rather than the end of June

• Barcode Validation
• Reserve Libraries
  • V19 will solve short term problems with GUI
  • Long Term - user group is being created
• Complete Tasks
• Requestable Tasks

• Rx Order of Priority

New titles Base in the OPAC - Vikor

• Will be a beta service in the live catalog
• Proposal for implementing New Titles in the live Catalog - yes!
• Proposed date - April 1st

New Workplan Initiatives - FY08 Initiatives - Bush

• Usability testing
• Redesign interface of OPAC and Research Port

• Generate Local Reports
• Training in order to run desired reports

• Create presence in catalog for journal titles from SFX knowledge base
• post holdings to WorldCat/li>

• Local Priorities are already on the workplan
• Where does my campus fall on the timeline?

• Ask CPC about ideas for database clean-up

• Improve ser/acq module - take to ASTG for further investigation of V18
• Annual training sessions for applications
• Staff development - not necessarily for Ex Libris programs

The priorities list will be placed on the Campus Contacts wiki for all campuses to see. Campuses will have until April 1st to discuss the most important initiatives for their campus.
