Exec agreed to extend RSTG through December 2007 and asked them to bring a revised charge based on the new sunset date to the December 15 CLD meeting. RSTG may create a circulation subgroup, add a circulation person to the committee, and nominate an individual. Current members have the opportuntity to rotate off and others who wish to join the group should nominate themselves to Gontrum.
CLD charges RSTG to come up with a process for vetting issues in the "parked" list. Rabinowitz volunteered to take list, and explain the significance and possible feasibility of each item to help CLD better understand the items. CLD will need to respond on issues that are not relevant or cannot be changed because of institutional policies or other reasons.
CLD Exec suggested several changes and additions to the procedures manual Lea Messman drafted on behalf of the Transition Team. They suggest that some information in the appendix be moved to the website where it can be more easily maintained. Exec determined that the Roster of Experts is no longer necessary.
Gontrum will write up suggestions and merge into document. The document will be reviewed regularly, and at next review cycle, posted as a wiki document so that CLD can edit and revise.
Wilt is working on a document with a list of CLD decisions, pulled from the minutes, and suggested it useful to continue to maintain as a record of decisions.
Tooey reported that a recent SLRC meeting, a link to the USMAI catalog from Marina was mentioned.
