Report Sorting and Display Options

The current available sorting and display options (display templates) are for ITD developed report programs for Ad Hoc reports. The completed reports that can be retrieved from Aleph Task Manager are in html format except for those having the word "text" as part of the template name, e.g., report–items–text–bib–callno.xsl, which are in text format. The file size is bigger for html format than that for text format. There should not be any differences in terms of data display.

While requesting a report, you can select a display template according to report type, i.e., report–budgets for invoice paid and not paid report, report–callnums for call number range report, report–itemlocs for SCMI report, and report–items for shelf list report. If the existing templates can not satisfy your need, you can request a new one which will take time to develop. In case there is more information in a template than needed, you can select that template and massage the data in Excel to either delete or hide the unwanted columns. The associated numbers of this list may change as more templates become available in the future. To avoid confusion, request a display template by its name, such as report–items–circ–created.xsl.
