Bibliographic and Holding Data Report

The Bibliographic and Holding Data report provides bibliographic and holding data associated with items. The program utilizes the shelf list report program, UNIX commands, and other ITD developed utility programs, combines xml output and text file output, and populates the xml output with HOL and/or BIB data. It searches and matches on data in given xml tag >xml_tag< in report-items xml output. For examples, given the BIB doc number tag in the xml output, it matches against bib doc number found in the text file and dumps the BIB fields in a xml file.

The current version of the program can only handle a single >xml_tag< and >tag_lib<. But it can by request to include the capability to handle multiple tags which would have to be respectively listed during input.

Standard exclusion in item processing statuses:

EX (expected),
NA (not arrived),
NE (not expected),
NP (not published),
NR (not received),
OI (order initiation),
OR (on order)

bib doc number, title, sublibrary, collection, hol tag, call number
