Present: Jamie Bush, Beverly Gresehover, Stephen Miller, Robin Moskal, Sharon Payne, Jean Phillips, Tanner Wray, Carol Vaeth

1. Jean distributed the pricing chart for Illiad from Paula Acsh. Jean will simplify the spreadsheet for the directors. The hardware costs will need to be added to the totals.
2. We spent the remainder of the meeting planning for the CLD presentation on Thursday, June 16. The agenda is as follows:

   INTRODUCTION
   (Bev 5 minutes)
   

   In our 45 minutes today, we would like to;
   present our vision document and our consortial platform for ILL/document delivery,
   We've distributed a brief outline of our presentation.

   Today, we are requesting confirmation of our direction with our platform.

   We are working toward implementing a consortial ILL product:
   

   • that will result in all USMAI sites sharing a common ILL platform, and
   • that will facilitate article delivery just as pph now moves books among our campuses.

   If, at the end of our presentation, you feel we are working in the right direction to achieve a consortial platform, we will continue our work by:
   

   • presenting our plan to the USMILL libraries at the July 15 MAILL meeting,
   • seeking input from our COI after today's meeting, and
   • delivering a complete report to you in September for consideration at your September 22 meeting.

   For about the first half our of our time today, we would like to stay focused on presenting our consortial platform for ILL/document delivery and defer other issues until the last 5 or 10 minutes of our time.

   To begin, I'd like to mention that seven of our consortial partners have listed consortial ILL or document delivery in their current lists of priorities.

   We've also given you a copy of our vision statement for resource sharing. As our vision state reads,

Our next meeting is July 7 at UMUC, 9 am – Noon. We plan to:

Follow up from the CLD meeting
Discuss Circulation agreements (at 10:30 with Circulation Agreements staff)
Discuss ILL agreements

We will also meet on Thursday, August 11 and Wednesday, September 7, both meetings being held at UMUC.
