USMAI Resource Sharing Task Group Minutes

January 9, 2006

Attending: Bev Gresehover (chair), Jamie Bush, Robin Moskal, Sharon Payne, Jean Phillips, Carol Vaeth, Tanner Wray (notetaker). Absent: Stephen Miller.

1. December 8, 2006 minutes were approved
   
   
2. ILL Agreements
   Robin will distribute the agreements to the campus contacts to request campus input with a deadline of 1/25/2006. After review of the comments, RSTG will submit the ILL Agreements to CLD.
   
   
3. ILLiad Implementation
   Atlas Systems has installed the production and test servers
   ITD is configuring the servers
   ITD is working to determine the best way to install the clients
   St. Mary's is willing to go live first if we wish to have an early adopter
   Initially sites will be blocked from accessing the Customization Manager
   ILLiad training is being scheduled. Stay tuned
   Implementation process is maybe a week or two behind schedule
   Solomon Sarang and Sharon Mollock have joined the ILLiad Implementation subgroup
   ITD will ultimately have three ILLiad-related reflectors: ILUG for USMAI ILLiad Users, USMILL (may rename it later) for ITD ILLiad implementors, RSTGILLiad for RSTG ILLiad Subgroup
   
   
4. E-Reserves Survey
   Bev will distribute the final report to CLD with a cc to Campus Contacts and the COI. The report will be put on the RSTG site.
   
   
5. RSTG Charge
   Bev's revised RSTG charge for 2006-2007 was reviewed. Some adjustments were made, including incorporating concepts from the Future Initiatives document. After a final RSTG review this week on email, Bev will forward the charge to Barbara Gontrum to distribute to the CLD.
   
   
6. RSTG Circulation subgroup and Additional RSTG Member
   The chair of the circulation subgroup will be the additional RSTG member. RSTG expects to make a recommendation to CLD this month for the RSTG member and subgroup members. A possible charge for the subgroup began to be formulated. The charge may include: circulation statistics; testing Aleph upgrades; training consortium members on Aleph upgrades; addressing the "parking lot" ; PPH rebalancing; workflows between resource sharing systems.
