RxWeb (version 1.0)
- RX Order of Priority (March 9, 2007). The following order of priority is established and used by ITD when addressing RX reports and requests.
- Emergencies which are denying services
- Non-urgent emergencies which are producing errors or updating data incorrectly (i.e. wrong due dates)
- Time-sensitive problems or updates (i.e closed dates)
- Report Requests
- Change Requests
- Routine tasks (ie. merge patrons)
- October 18. 2006 - I have created a new filter in the RxWeb that will
allow you to view all "Active" reports. I define active as not closed.
This filter replaces the "Assigned" filter which , feedback has told me, wasn't used much. To use this filter select the 'Active' filter button.
- RxWeb is a trouble reporting database for the USMAI Aleph version 16 implementation. RxWeb does not include trouble reports for Aleph version 15.
- When submitting an RxWeb report all of the fields on the web form are required except for "submitted by". This field is to be used when a report is submitted for another person.
- Reports are submitted to the RxWeb database when the "submit" button is selected on the web form. Emailing of the report does occur until the email configuration is confirmed.
- Email configuration allows users to specify COI email reflectors or additional individual emails to the email function of the web reports. An email must be "checked" in order for it to be used in the email function.
- Additional emails added to reports and replies are not saved with the original emails. This means that when you add an additional email in the email configuration it will be used for the emailing of that report or reply only. Any subsequent replies to that report using RxWeb will not include those additional emails unless the user that is replying also adds those additional emails.
- To avoid duplication, search the existing entries before submitting a new entry.
- ITD Aleph staff will review the entries on a regular basis during normal business hours.
- If you have an emergency (for example, Aleph is down) submit an entry AND call the ITD Help Desk at 1/301-405-9188. The voice mail for this phone is periodically monitored outside of normal business hours.
- If you wish to reply to an RxWeb report please use the "Reply to this Report" link found in the upper right of the full record display of the RxWeb report.
