BINDERY PROCESSING

  1. Search title, select subscription – as for any other search – all items checked in

  2. Select Item List [M] from the tree in the left pane and highlight the first item to be collapsed for binding; click Bind/Change

  3. In the left window, highlight all the items to be collapsed in a group; using the arrow key move the highlighted items into the right pane, and click Bind

  4. Modify the item to reflect the new item; change Enum. Level 1, Enum. Level 2, and Description - as needed, and on Tab 4, zero out the Issue Date, the Expected Arrival Date and the Arrival Date, click Update

  5. The Item List indicates the volume is at the bindery; but the zeroed out dates do not "stick"; the Issue Date reverts to the date the collapsing is done; the Expected Arrival Date reverts to a date X number of days after the Issue Date (based on the claim interval from the Subscription); the Arrival Date remains at zero.
