Creating a Subscription Form in Aleph
In the Acquisitions/Serials module navigate to the order screen Select the order you want to create a new subscription on. (NOTE: By starting from the order, the order and new subscription will automatically be linked!)

On the left side of the screen select "[S] Items/Subscriptions," OR click on the serials icon to the left of the binoculars to go to [L] Subscription List (1).

Click on "Add" on the right side of the upper pane.

Notice that some data is pulled automatically from the order record.
The "To Date" is uniformly entered across all system libraries as 12/31/2099.
Add any additional information such as item status, collection code, and call number information on tab 2.
Claiming information and notes go on tab 3. The claim intervals specified here control the automated claiming process.
The "Check-in Note" will show up on the check-in screen and should contain the kind of information that your check-in technician needs, such as "strip issues" or "send to Reference."
Save by pressing "Add" on the right side of the lower pane.
