Authorities in OPAC

Description: Implement the public display interface for the authority records and the cross references.

Main tasks:

• create test catalog environment with authorities in the PAC in version 18
• modify the out-of-box screen design according to initial recommendations of the UITG
• plan usability testing protocol and conduct usability testing
• revise screen designs based on usability test findings
• reiterate usability testing/redesign if necessary
• release test PAC with Authorities to COIs, USMAI staff for evaluation/familiarization
• announce and publicize changes in catalog
• implement in live catalog (reindexing, etc.)
